Become an ENPOWR College Ambassador

Help make endometriosis education more visible on your campus.

The ENPOWR College Ambassador Initiative encourages college students to raise awareness of endometriosis, reduce menstrual health stigma, and connect their peers with accurate, supportive educational resources.

Created by the Endometriosis Foundation of America, ENPOWR is a free, youth-focused education program that brings endometriosis awareness and education to schools, colleges, and communities nationwide. Through the College Ambassador Program, students receive training and support to lead peer-to-peer outreach on their campuses, helping raise awareness of endometriosis, promote early recognition of symptoms, and instill confidence in fellow students to seek care and support when needed.

Why Endometriosis Education Matters on College Campuses

For many people with endometriosis, symptoms begin during adolescence and continue into young adulthood. Yet painful periods and other symptoms are often dismissed, misunderstood, or normalized.

College students deserve access to information that helps them recognize when something may not be right, speak openly about menstrual health, and support friends, classmates, and loved ones who may be struggling.

As an ENPOWR College Ambassador, you can help create a more informed, compassionate campus community.

What College Ambassadors Do

College Ambassadors choose outreach activities that fit their campus, interests, and available opportunities. With support from EndoFound staff, ambassadors may:

Lead Educational Presentations

Share endometriosis and menstrual health education with campus clubs, classes, student organizations, health offices, and other groups.

 Table at Campus Events

Host an ENPOWR educational table at health fairs, student activity fairs, awareness events, and other campus gatherings.

Organize Awareness Activities

Plan creative outreach efforts that help reduce stigma, encourage conversation, and connect peers with trustworthy information.

Support Menstrual Product Drives

Coordinate drives that address period access while creating opportunities for endometriosis education and awareness.

Fundraise for EndoFound

Host peer-led fundraising events or campaigns that expand awareness and support EndoFound’s education, advocacy, research, and awareness work.

What You Receive

ENPOWR College Ambassadors do not have to do this work alone. Participants receive:

  • Training on endometriosis, menstrual health, and peer-focused education

  • Branded ENPOWR materials and educational resources

  • Presentation tools, outreach guides, sample emails, and event ideas

  • Ongoing guidance and support from EndoFound staff

  • Opportunities to connect with other student leaders across the country

  • A meaningful way to build leadership, communication, public health, and community-engagement experience

Who Should Apply

This program is for college and university students who are passionate about health education, advocacy, community-building, or endometriosis awareness.

You do not need to have endometriosis to participate. We welcome students with lived experience, students supporting someone they care about, and anyone who wants to help make accurate endometriosis education more accessible on campus.

We are especially excited to work with students who are ready to take initiative, collaborate with campus partners, and help create a more supportive culture around menstrual and reproductive health.

Join a Growing National Movement

ENPOWR College Ambassadors are bringing endometriosis education to campuses across the country through peer-led presentations, tabling events, menstrual product drives, fundraising, and awareness activities.

Together, ambassadors are helping ensure that more students know that severe symptoms deserve attention—and that no one has to navigate them alone.
