Dr. Tamer Seckin

I am going to introduce somebody who I am not going to take a long time introducing because you know him. I want to say the biggest thank you tonight, other than my spiritual thank you to Teddy, is my thank you to Tamer Seckin. I wrote thank Tamer Seckin every day of my life till I die. Every time my daughter wakes up and smiles at me, every time another girl says, “I’m okay now thanks for talking about this”. When my daughter gets married, to whomever she wants to get married to, yes, I am very glad, I am. You know, I will thank him just every day of my life and there are many Tamer Seckins, but this one is mine, and mostly Elif’s. Thank you to Elif and his family for lending him to us. Please welcome my hero, my knight in shining armor, the great dad and husband and friend, and lover of women, Tamer Seckin.

There is some written text here but this is probably not what I am going to talk about. I just talk from my heart. Isn’t that right Tucker? Nothing more than I can thank from the depth of my heart, I am speechless. This is getting bigger and bigger and you are all speaking for a cause and I am speaking for the foundation and the women we represent. We represent a cause. You may or may not know the last two days we had a great conference at Lenox Hill. It was really packed. More importantly, people with no self interest came from China, from Portugal, from London, from Europe, from Africa to join us – Holland. I was speechless again. This is something new in women’s health care, we are moving ahead and I appreciate you being here.

Again, just to acknowledge, I appreciate my wife always supporting me but also importantly – thank you – and also let me not forget my best friends, the Sabanci family who came with a big crowd to support me. Osklen and Demir, thank you, thank you very much. I appreciate that.

Just moving on, we have some honorees but I want to say hello to acknowledge my father, who is not here, obviously gone to the other side, with Teddy, we like to toast for their wellness wherever they are. Thank you.
