Stephanie Falcone Bernik, MD, FACS is the Chief of Surgical Oncology in the General Surgery Department at Lenox Hill Hospital. She did a fellowship in Breast Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where she studied the behavior of phyllodes tumors and factors for success in sentinel lymph node biopsies. She received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, Residency at Saint Vincents Hospital as well as a fellowship in surgical oncology and later became the Chief of Breast Surgery there. She has numerous clinical awards and is committed to ongoing clinical research in breast surgery.
