Chief, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Northwell Health

Dr. Nimaroff is the Senior Vice President and Executive Director for Northwell Health’s Ob/Gyn service line.   He assists with the development of the health system’s Ob/Gyn strategic initiatives and leads programs that facilitate market growth, improved efficiency, employee and physician satisfaction, and operations of Ob/Gyn practices in Northwell Health Physician Partners. 

Dr. Nimaroff received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University followed by his medical degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in 1987.  He recently received his MBA from Hofstra University in May, 2016.  Dr. Nimaroff has practiced gynecology in the New York metropolitan area for nearly three decades.  In 2005,

Dr. Nimaroff established one of the first gynecologic robotic surgical programs in New York and has been actively involved in the development of single port surgical techniques in gynecology.  Dr. Nimaroff also established and serves as the Director of North Shore University Hospital’s two-year, Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Fellowship Program, and is an Associate Professor of Ob/Gyn at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.   He also is a founding member of Northwell’s Network of Excellence programs in both Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Robotics Surgery.
