Liron Bar-El, MD, is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) specializing in complex gynecologic surgery and endometriosis care. She earned her medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in MIGS at the Cleveland Clinic. She has additional focused training in deep endometriosis surgery in Bordeaux, France, and specialized endometriosis ultrasound in Hamilton, Canada. She now cares for patients as part of the gynecology team at Cedars-Sinai.
In addition to her surgical practice, Dr. Bar-El is deeply engaged in clinical research, surgical education, and innovation. She has authored multiple publications, presented extensively at national and international conferences, and received honors including the 2025 Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) Best Research Award and the 2025 AAGL Foundation IRCAD Award for outstanding contributions to MIGS education.
Dr. Bar-El is dedicated to caring for patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain through compassionate, individualized treatment, while mentoring future gynecologic surgeons, advancing research, and serving as an advocate for the endometriosis community.
