Laurie Berke-Weiss has over 35 years’ experience practicing employment law, representing businesses, non-profits, executives and professionals. She advises clients on issues including sexual harassment, workplace discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, FMLA and pregnancy rights, as well as employment and severance agreements. She represents employees and employers providing her with a unique perspective, whether counseling clients, representing them in mediation or litigation, or conducting investigations.

Ms. Berke-Weiss is the founder and principal attorney of her boutique law firm, Berke-Weiss Law PLLC. She has presented at, moderated, and facilitated dozens of conferences, panels, and seminars, covering topics as diverse as employment discrimination and the immigration crisis’s impact on women and children. She was recently quoted by CNN about pay transparency, and by Employment Law 360 about flexible working arrangements. For the past decade, Ms. Berke-Weiss has been included on the Top 100: New York — Metro Super Lawyers and Top 50: Women New York — Metro Super Lawyers lists. She is a bar leader, having served as President of the New York Women’s Bar Association and Chair of the Executive Committee of the New York City Bar.
