Karen S, Doniger

Karen S. Doniger is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a member of the Journal of Transnational Law. She began her legal career at Davis Polk & Wardwell in the Private Wealth Group, advising high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and trust companies on trusts and estates matters, and later served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at UBS PaineWebber overseeing a new trust business.

Karen has been deeply involved in nonprofit and educational organizations, providing legal and strategic guidance and serving in numerous leadership and fundraising roles. Her volunteer experience includes work with Americares, Reach Prep, Greenwich Academy, Wellness in the Schools, and Rippowam Cisqua School. In addition, Karen’s experience navigating the healthcare system as a woman and as the caregiver for her three daughters (one of who has had severe pelvic pain from endometriosis since age 10) has made her passionate advocate for women’s health.
