Alexis Roderick Joel

Alexis Joel is a dedicated advocate for endometriosis awareness and research whose personal experience with the disease has fueled her philanthropic work. After years of debilitating symptoms, misdiagnosis, and unsuccessful treatments, she found lasting relief through care with Dr. Tamer Seckin, inspiring her to help advance change for others. In collaboration with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, she has played a key role in supporting the development of the Seckin Endometriosis Research Center for Women’s Health, contributing to efforts that integrate patient experiences with cutting-edge genomic research. Through her advocacy and support, she has helped elevate awareness, expand research initiatives, and amplify the voices of those affected, working toward earlier diagnosis, improved treatments, and a better future for women worldwide.
