Jeannine Ann Villella, DO

Jeannine Ann Villella, DO, FACOG, FACS is the Chief of Gynecologic Oncology and the interim Chair of Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital (Northwell) as well as associate professor at Hofstra. She graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology followed by residency at Winthrop where she later returned as Assistant Director of Gyn/Oncology after fellowship. She completed fellowship at Columbia in Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She has a clinical focus in gynecologic malignancies, minimally invasive surgery with a treatment focus on immunotherapy and vaccine trials. She currently has grant funding and an ongoing trial for “immunotherapeutic Vaccine for Ovarian Cancer” on DPX-Survicac with low dose cyclophosphamide in patients who are surgically operable or advanced stage. She has numerous publications, research and teaching awards and is committed to ongoing research at the forefront of options for patients with gynecologic malignancies.
