About the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound)
The Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound) is a leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing disease recognition, providing education, funding research, and advocating for policy change. Co-founded by Padma Lakshmi and world-renowned endometriosis surgeon Dr. Tamer Seckin, EndoFound supports patients and works to improve care for the 1 in 10 individuals affected by this chronic, painful disease.
Position Overview
EndoFound is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time/Contract Grant Writer to support the organization’s growing development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, drafting compelling grant proposals and reports, and maintaining a calendar of deadlines.
Familiarity with the grant database software Instrumentl is essential for success in this role. This is a remote, project-based position ideal for someone who is self-directed, deadline-driven, and passionate about women’s health and health equity.
Key Responsibilities

Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with EndoFound’s mission and strategic priorities using Instrumentl and other tools.

Draft, edit, and submit letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and supporting documentation for foundations, corporations, and government funders.

Collaborate with internal staff to gather relevant data and program details for proposals and reporting.

Maintain a grant calendar and ensure timely submissions, renewals, and reports.

Track and monitor proposal outcomes, requirements, and deliverables.

Assist in the development of boilerplate language, budgets, and templates to streamline the proposal process.
Qualifications

3+ years of grant writing experience, preferably with nonprofit organizations in the health or advocacy space.

Proven track record of successful grant proposals (please include examples or metrics, if available).

Proficiency using Instrumentl to research and manage grant prospects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Familiarity with women’s health, endometriosis, or healthcare advocacy is a plus.
