Job Title: ENPOWR Program Summer Internship
Reports To: ENPOWR Program Director
Location: Remote or NYC-Based
Hours: Approximately 15 - 20 hours/week
Duration: Flexible
Compensation: $18 /hour
About ENPOWR:
The ENPOWR Project is a school and community-based education program created by the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound). ENPOWR raises awareness about endometriosis and menstrual health among adolescents through free, accessible e-learning modules and volunteer-led presentations in schools. The program aims to empower young people with knowledge, reduce diagnostic delays, and promote menstrual equity.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and detail-oriented intern to support the daily operations, outreach efforts, and growth of the ENPOWR Project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to public health education, reproductive justice, and youth empowerment, especially for those interested in endometriosis, health communications, nonprofit work, or women’s health.
Potential Responsibilities:

Assist with scheduling and coordinating ENPOWR presentations in schools and community organizations

Help onboard and support volunteer Endo Educators

Monitor and organize program data, feedback, and impact reports

Conduct outreach to key stakeholders for potential partnership opportunities

Support the planning of ambassador and volunteer engagement training events

Other administrative and program-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Passionate about endometriosis, menstrual health, and health promotion

Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Prior experience with outreach, education, or nonprofit work is a plus

Students of public health, education, gender studies, nonprofit management, or related fields are encouraged to apply
