Gregory Burns

Gregory Burns, PhD

Gregory Burns received his B.S. in Animal Science and M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. His Ph.D. research at the University of Missouri focused on extracellular vesicles in the uterine microenvironment during early pregnancy in sheep and implicated extracellular vesicles as mediators of communication between the developing conceptus and endometrium. He is investigating the role of extracellular vesicle signaling in the pathogenesis of endometriosis with the goal of identifying underlying mechanisms of endometriotic lesion establishment and progression.
