Writer, Educator, and Architectural Historian

Eva Hagberg is a New York-based writer, educator, and architectural historian. She holds a PhD in Visual and Narrative Culture from UC Berkeley, and degrees in architecture from UC Berkeley and Princeton; her writing about design, feelings, and people have been widely published, including in the New York Times, Dwell, Wallpaper*, Wired, and more, and her critically-acclaimed debut book, HOW TO BE LOVED: A MEMOIR OF LIFESAVING FRIENDSHIP (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), is out now in hardcover and paperback.
