Dharani K Hapangama is a Professor of Gynaecology and the deputy head of the department of Women’s & Children’s health, with an interest in translational endometrial research. She is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and her research group works on normal regeneration of the human endometrium, endometrial epithelial stem cells, and telomerase/telomere biology in the context of endometrial diseases such as 'endometriosis', peri-conceptional pathology and 'endometrial cancer'.
