Alyssa Sceppaguercio, MA, LMHC

Counselor, Endometriosis Advocate

Alyssa is an Executive Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in the treatment of complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, and dissociative disorders in adults, as well as collegiate and professional athletes. Additionally, she is an EMDR Certified clinician and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). With a passion for education, she is currently a doctoral candidate where she is engaged in research on collegiate student-athletes’ dissociative experiences and overall well-being. As an endometriosis warrior, she is passionate about giving back to community members still struggling with the mental health implications of living with endometriosis/adenomyosis. She believes in the significance of navigating trauma-informed conversations related to same-sex health and establishing trust and transparency with caregivers and loved ones. Lastly and most importantly, she is forever grateful toward her loving and supportive wife, Amanda, for her instrumental role in healing and recovery.
