Amanda Filippazzo

Amanda is a Senior Patient Experience Specialist for Northwell Health where she supports patients and families through the hospital experience. In her role, she helps foster a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care with an emphasis on the importance of building strong patient relationships. Her passion lies in the advocacy, health equity, and bereavement support for the patients and families served. Additionally, she played a key role in providing unconditional love and support for her endometriosis warrior wife, Alyssa. As a patient experience specialist, Amanda was equipped with a unique set of skills to advocate on behalf of her loved one. She took on the role of wife and advocate to ensure the best level of safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental care was provided throughout the surgical experience and healing process.
