Finding Marital Support Amid An Endo Diagnosis

In a powerful endo story, Hanna Szigeti details what it’s like to have both endometriosis and in-laws who attribute her worth to her child-bearing abilities. “When I realized the effects endometriosis can have on fertility,” Hanna writes, “all I could think about was the comment my in-laws made during my year of engagement: ‘If you can’t have children, then we don’t need you.’” Read Hanna’s full story for how her partner supports her with no reservations, despite this incredibly difficult familial situation.

A Summer Soiree for Endometriosis

Last month, The Madison of D.C. hosted a summer soiree and raised over $3,000 for EndoFound! The organization handed out informational endometriosis pamphlets and awareness bracelets to over 200 attendees. And best of all, the winner of the raffle basket full of endometriosis information and swag was an aspiring med student who wants to study endo. Want to host your own fundraiser?
