There’s Thanksgiving, of course. Then there’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Many of us forget about Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving celebrated on December 3rd.
Recent studies have shown that 55% of young adults are unaware of Giving Tuesday. We want to change this, and at the same time bring awareness to the disease that has been long-misdiagnosed, improperly treated, and subject to taboo and stigma.
We hope to continue our work to support endometriosis patients with the launch of our Giving Tuesday campaign. Any supporter who donates or raises $200 or more by December 3, 2019 will automatically be entered into our Giving Tuesday giveaway of wellness products valued at $1000. You can either donate on this form, or you can set up a fundraiser for EndoFound on Facebook or Everyday Hero. To help raise awareness of charitable causes and amplify donors' generosity, Facebook will match eligible donations up to the full match amount that is made on Facebook during Giving Tuesday 2019. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 by New York’s 92nd Street Y with support from the United Nations Foundation. Its mission remains straightforward and humble: a day to do good. If your life has been touched by endometriosis, you have the power to transform the future of the disease. At EndoFound, we are spearheading a mission to transform endometriosis into a household name. We believe that with awareness, research, and education, we can combat the stigmas and taboos associated with menstruation, and bring patients the recognition and treatment they deserve. Join us in our mission. Your support on December 3rd will make an incredible difference on the endometriosis community worldwide.
